Yin Yoga offers you the opportunity to arrive in your body. This deep inner awareness becomes possible through stillness. In order find this inner stillness, every form of movement energy needs to gradually come to rest.

Creating clarity in the mind and cultivating mindfulness happens through surrender on a physical level. Body, breath, and mind experience silence together. 

Students remain in the postures for about five minutes. This deep release improves flexibility, creates space, and reduces stress, tension, and even pain, physically, emotionally, and mentally.

Yin Yoga postures are held for a long time. We stay and soften.
Yin Yoga is challenging.
Yin Yoga is not meant to be comfortable. It will take you beyond your comfort zone.

We do not use the body to get into the pose. We use the pose to get into the body.

Yin Yoga stimulates the connective tissue, ligaments, fascia, joints, and bones, especially around the hips, pelvis, and lower back, and helps prevent contraction, stiffness, and degeneration.

Yin Yoga is suitable for students of all levels, including complete beginners, experienced practitioners, those recovering from injury, or returning after pregnancy.
